How to delete your account (secure, in-app)

Only you can delete your own Lingato account, while signed in. Nobody can delete another person’s account from this page.

  1. Open Lingato in the app or at https://lingato.org/
  2. Sign in to the account you want deleted (Sign in
  3. Go to Profile Open Profile
  4. Tap or click Delete my account…
  5. Confirm:
    • If your account has a password — enter your password
    • Type DELETE in capital letters
    • Confirm Permanently delete account

Deletion runs immediately after a successful confirmation. You are signed out and that account can no longer be used.

If you cannot sign in

If you are locked out of the account, email a deletion request from the same email address registered on the account:

Include the account email and a clear request to delete the Lingato account. We verify ownership before deleting (usually within 30 days). This path is only for people who cannot use the in-app flow; it is not a way to delete someone else’s account.

Guest users (no account)

If you used Lingato without registering, there is no server account to delete. Clear the site’s local data in your browser, or uninstall the Android app, to remove device-local data.

Google Play purchases

Deleting your Lingato account does not automatically refund a paid app purchase. Billing is handled by Google Play — see Google Play purchase support.
